NEW PARKING OPEN ON FAIRFAX
This evening just got a little more interesting. An ederly husband & wife were doing their best to park here on the block when an awnry driver laid on the horn to get by…
Here are some photos of the outcome:
The driver… looking a little perplexed to say the least
The couple receiving some care… check out where they landed
Needless to say no one was injured (aside from our neighbor’s store front). The old guy was mostly concerned about getting to his reservation at Canter’s on time. No lie!

FAIRFAX LOCALS #4
Beautiful couple spotted walking past Canter’s across the street. So perfect, you’d think this was shot in the 1920’s. Photo by Rick Rodney.

GET THESE BOOKS
One of the best things about working at RESERVE (aside from sneaker heads) is the luxury to be able to sit, and go through our vast collection of vintage books. It’s like a library filled with nothing but good shit.
Here are three must reads:
AND/OR- Marjorie Morris and Don Sauers
“This deeply moving book demonstrates more clearly than most written words to anomalous and tragic inconsistencies of our existence”- Robert F. Kennedy
TALISMAN- Arthur Tress
“These are images that will strike the reader with unnerving force: they are beguiling, seductive, and disturbing.”
SANS TITRE- Diane Arbus
“Once I dreamed I was on a gorgeous ocean ...

GOOD READING…
