WET MAGAZINE
Wet was an avant-garde Los Angeles-based magazine that revolved around the idea of “gourmet bathing” and later evolved to “gourmet bathing and beyond.” Its publisher and creator was Leonard Koren, an architecture school graduate. The magazine covered cultural issues and was known for its innovative use of graphic art.[citation needed]
Over the years, Wet began to reflect a broader expanse of stories, capturing a kind of smart, artsy Los Angeles attitude that was emerging at the same time as punk, but had its own distinct aesthetic.
Wet lasted 34 issues, spanning the years 1976 to 1981.

NEW BOOKS ARE IN!!! Below you’ll find some of the new titles that have just

These are some of the more “racey” titles… I call them “the books I would check out

Check’em out:
Love Scenes- Bell (1984)
The Book of Calendar Girl Photography- Roger Hicks (1984)
Sun-Warmed Nudes- Andre De Dienes (1968)
The Pirelli Calendar Book- Pan Books Ltd. (1975)
35mm Nudes- A.E. Wooley (1966)
These are just a few… more to come. Keep Coming Back

SUBWAY
Bruce Davidson photographs people on an eye-to-eye level, portrayingand inducing powerful emotion, while focusing his lens on people in themidst of transition and a search for meaning
In all of Davidson’s works, instead of objectifying his subjects –as objects of pity, subjects of curiosity, or specimens for analysis –he humanizes them, portraying them with a sense of vigor and vitality,as we are given insight to their lives, struggles, and desires. In particular, Davidson often documents the human search for meaningamong people who face potentially ruinous social obstacles and economicstrife. This type of documentation is especially evident in East 100th Street, Brooklyn ...
