Yesterday was the official re-launch of The World’s Got Problems, a hyperlink-rich column of news and analysis, illustrated with digital collage, brought to you by Freshjive and Jason Rosencrantz. The site had been dark for a few weeks, but of course the darkness of the world’s problems continues unabated. In the inaugural post of the relaunch, Jason takes a step back and looks at certain recent developments as they relate to be an underlying problem–the dominant political culture’s selective and variable application of the 14th Amendment and the concept of “personhood”.
