House Industries at Reserve LA

Join us Friday August 20th at the Reserve Gallery for a special House Industries show and installation featuring new wood serigraphs, custom Reserve/House products and plenty of House gear. NOMAG Digital Issue #3 – Jules Bates

In our third and final installment of digitizing the legendary punk publication NOMAG, we  offer a glimpse into an issue dedicated to the passing of photographer Jules Bates, who was a large part of the magazine. Jules was killed in a motorcycle accident while either leaving or arriving to his photo studio at 4th and Normandie in Los Angeles on September 26th, 1982. Edited and published by LA’s punk rock cultural anthropologist Bruce Kalberg, NOMAG featured content against the popular media grain.
