FAME: Portraits Of Celebrated People
A super colorful, 120-page book with a pretty self-explanatory title. Fun fact: There’s some work in here from our good friend Mick Haggerty, who was actually one of Rick Klotz’s art school professors, and in the past has collaborated with Freshjive on a series of tees.

Bodyscapes: A Celebration
A beautiful book of black and white nudes from photographer Martin H. Schreiber. Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Martin Schreiber immigrated to the United States in 1952. During the turbulent ’60’s, he dropped out of college and fatefully joined the Army, where he went to photo lab school. Taking up photography full time after the service, Schreiber went on to teach and lecture at the New School/Parsons in New York. Returning to his European roots, he presently lives outside Paris. Graphis Annual 80|81
Graphis Annual is the international annual of advertising and editorial graphics. In this 1980-81 edition we see some really nice early 80’s advertising design towards the front pages, then the second half seems a little transitional between 70’s and 80’s design.

WET MAGAZINE
Wet was an avant-garde Los Angeles-based magazine that revolved around the idea of “gourmet bathing” and later evolved to “gourmet bathing and beyond.” Its publisher and creator was Leonard Koren, an architecture school graduate. The magazine covered cultural issues and was known for its innovative use of graphic art.[citation needed]
Over the years, Wet began to reflect a broader expanse of stories, capturing a kind of smart, artsy Los Angeles attitude that was emerging at the same time as punk, but had its own distinct aesthetic.
Wet lasted 34 issues, spanning the years 1976 to 1981.
