Gottfried Helnwein Faces
Known for his provocative and controversial work, Gottfried Helnwein chose to debunk the misconception that a face at any given time looks more or less the same. Whether it be the slightest change in an expression or the addition of bandages and metal instruments, Helnwein subtly reveals something about the personality of each subject. Showcasing over 30 different portraits, a copy of this book from 1992 is now available at reserve.

Freshjive’s L.A. Neon T
In the 1980’s, Melrose Avenue exploded with independent retail stores and restaurants later being labeled as the birthplace of Southern California’s New Wave and Punk Cultures. In harmony with the glamour of Hollywood, the street glowed with the flashing of neon lights grabbing the attention of eccentric shoppers. Today Melrose Avenue is a bastion of crap retail stores, crappier fashion, and derelict consumers walking up and down the block with crap looks on their faces.
The L.A. Neon T is available ONLINE HERE.

Claus Wickrath’s Flowerskin
Claus Wickrath first gained notoriety with publications such as Petra or Stern and was eventually published in Femme, French Vogue, and Elle. WOR VIDEO: Groovy Out Rad In
Kicking off for Memorial Day weekend while the summer WOR line is out, Jack Coleman has orchestrated, filmed, and personally edited a phenomenal 3:47 video shot entirely on 8mm film. The flick features Levi Prairie from Gantez Warrior and Brad Coleman from Indian Burn, some surf footage, sky, sun, clouds, and of course a few beach bunnies (what would a summer video be without beach bunnies!?).
Enjoy it and destroy it.
