Gantez Warrior.

WOR Radio presents an interview with WOR recording artist Gantez Warrior. The band is made up of 3 very young and talented surf kids out of the beach town of Costa Mesa, California. According to lead singer Levi Prairie, the band’s about “Making out, dancing, teenage party music, surfing, positive fun, and getting people down to as little clothes as possible.” Formed in 2005 when they were all 13 years old and playing small gigs and backyard parties, their first single under WOR Records drops very very soon.

Introducing the Marina Del Rey collection, a collaboration between Warriors of Radness and Gourmet releasing in conjunction with the Tre WOR co-branded shoe.

Situated in Los Angeles County, just south of Venice, Marina Del Rey is one of the largest man-made small boat harbors in the United States.  It is the carefree capital of LA County.  Its many fancy shore side restaurants and yacht clubs seem a far distance from the hustle and flow of Los Angeles on a whole.

This sea green inspired collection reflects the listless cool of this affluent coastal community and is perfect for a champagne, sailing date with that slightly older, independently wealthy woman you met at the boardwalk last week.

Introducing a collaboration collection from Warriors of Radness and John’s called, appropriately, John’s WOR. For this proejct, we’ve put together pieces influenced by the subtle earth tones and surf flavor of the 1970s, in style with the vibe of John’s store out in Japan. Highlight items are subtle 2 tone corduroy shorts, hand drawn ethnic print in both a t-shirt and walk short, and 2 t-shirt designs. All items are manufactured right here in Los Angeles. They are only available in Japan at John’s and associated shops, but can be found here in the USA exclusively at Reserve in Los Angeles.

John’s Clothing was open in 1986 in Japan and has focused on 70s American style from native Indian and western to military and workwear to surf.
